Fellowships

The center is offering short-term fellowships for students and academics interested in research areas such as Classical Kannada literature, heritage monuments in Karnataka, Kannada epigraphy, and folklore studies. Ideal candidates are those currently pursuing a PhD or involved in postdoctoral research. A strong proficiency in Classical Kannada, Sanskrit, or any other language relevant to their research area is required. Fellowships range from 3 to 6 months, with the grant amount dependent on the duration of stay and the research focus. Applicants should submit a detailed resume and a covering letter, approximately 1000 words, outlining their research project.

Grants

The centre also provides small grants for book projects, archaeological work on select temple sites, and digital humanities projects.
